Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
A man is taken from the streets of London and transported to an unknown country. Held in solitary confinement with no communication with the outside world, he is plunged into a lawless nightmare of detention without trial. Instead, he is interrogated and tortured mercilessly. Many months later, he is returned without explanation to the United Kingdom, left to pick up the pieces of a shattered life he no longer recognizes.
