Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
Several characters are introduced during a train ride. There is the bickering couple with a young daughter who are about to get a divorce, a young man on his way home to reconcile with his father, a sightseeing Slavic couple, a pair of twentysomething lovers, and an old man and woman who are about to consumate a trist. Also present is a beautiful young woman with blue eyes who may represent the unfathomable nature of life and fate.
