Teresa is an emotionally confused and pregnant flight attendant who loses herself in her work to avoid facing the unpleasant realities in her life. On one of her flights, she meets Julian, a doctor who is traveling to Argentina to scatter his wife's ashes. The two find themselves in the same hotel and wind up spending the night together, after which Teresa abruptly leaves. Yet, they both feel the need to see each other again, and thus go to great lengths to get back together.
