A tropical melodrama set in Manhattan's vanishing red zone, Hell's Kitchen. Joselito, a Colombian immigrant who has just been discharged from the navy, returns to his mother's apartment, shared by his brother and his grandmother. Through trials with his stripper ex-girlfriend, a green card, a missing $10,000 dollars, a visit to the morgue, AA meetings, and the NYC Marathon, Joselito must decide restitching the fragments of his tattered life or being cooked in a kettle a personal demons in the infernal heat of Hell's Kitchen.
