Depressed after his wife Sara runs off with another man, psychiatrist Miguel tries to get on with his life and continue working. Then one of his patients, Paquito, steals his wallet. Miguel goes looking for Paquito in his rundown neighborhood and meets his energetic sister Jasmina, who promises to pay Miguel back. As Miguel begins to see more of Jasmina, the two embark on an unlikely romance.
