The harsh realities of an orphan have turned Nandu into a criminal turned assassin. He somehow gets wrongly accused of a politician’s murder and is on the run. While on the run he meets Puran, who is homebound after fourteen years, to attend his cousins wedding. However, in a police encounter on the train, Puran gets shot at while trying to save Nandu and dies on the spot. Nandu flees and finds his way to Puran’s home to break the news. Puran’s family mistakes him to be Puran and he gets dragged into being a part of the wedding celebrations. Unable to clear the family's misconception, he starts living a false identity and somewhere along the way begins to soften and develop emotions.
