Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
Andreas travels to the land of his dead mother, to the island. The character of the landscape has changed and the memory of the few people that are left is wanting, fragmented. The island is inundated with foreign tribes, families and groups of foreigners. Andreas can no longer find his home. Everything has changed. And so, he decides to do the only thing that is left for him to do. As he delves into the myth, he begins to build the lost landscape from the beginning, drawing once again the blue line of the horizon. And he will not walk alone along his chosen path. The foreigners will help him. And thus, the town will rise again, an ephemeral town.
