Big Al is an Elvis Presley look alike who suffers from delusions. After a nervous breakdown he is sent to a small town on the banks of the Hudson River to start a new life. There he is immediately smitten with Delilah Rose, a femme fatale married to an abusive husband who owns a Café near the River. Realizing he has no chance with her, Big Al pretends to be an FBI agent secretly spying on a suspected terrorist cell. After going on bogus missions, Delilah is impressed by Big Al and manipulates him to plan a murder spree of most the people she dislikes. It’s only until then that Big Al realizes he is in way over his head.
