Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
In this opera about the death of 10 different composers, all from mysterious circumstances, the focus is on fictional composer Juan Manuel, shot and killed in 1952. Manuel was living in Uruguay at the time in a former slaughterhouse. As investigators dig into Manuel's life, they discover his love affair with Esmeralda and the ill-fated consequences of her jealousy, when Manuel transferred his affections away from her and onto his beloved horse.
