Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
Contemporary New York. Najia is a young Palestinian woman whose curiosity and research leads her to Mary, a middle-aged doctor. Quite by chance, Najia also strikes up a relationship with Shira, a young model she meets in a coffee shop. Judy is a singer recording a series of classic English and Scottish folk songs. Finally, there is a mysterious man who appears to have no connection to anyone else in the film: he gets dressed, walks in the streets and sits in parks. A normal day soon becomes less-than-ordinary for all of them: such is the nature of catastrophic events.
