Maria--the actress, ex-girlfriend of aging, actor-director Martin--happens upon a stash of stolen cash in a garbage can. Hiding the money from her wimpish live-in lover Gregor, who she's ready to dump, Maria finally looks up Martin intending to ask his advice. Their relationship rebuilds itself as they get re-acquainted.
