synopsis
This time, the coolest team on ice has a new school and a new coach. But it's the same old Duck attitude that shines through as they face off against an upper-class varsity team of tough hockey players who are determined to melt their winning streak, and the stodgy school alumni who threaten to revoke the Ducks' scholarships. After winning The Junior Goodwill Games in "D2: The Mighty Ducks," the young hockey champions accept athletic scholarships from exclusive Eden Hall Academy, whose Warriors team have held the state title for 20 years. When Ducks Coach Gordon Bombay does not immediately accompany them to Eden Hall, the team feels abandoned. Adjusting to the pressure of being at a new school, and reporting to a new coach, Orion, are just the beginning of the Ducks' woes. They face their final test in the exciting showdown game against the bullies of the Warrior Varsity.
