Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
Claudia is thrown out by her lover, but falls on her feet with a job caring for an eccectric old lady. Even more eccentric, though, is the old lady's step-son Marvin, who has just been released from jail for a sex offense. When the old lady disappears, police detective Mariann steps in, but the case is far from routine.
