After years apart, three sisters meet at their mother Adela's funeral and travel together to bury her ashes. Gloria, Ana and Lidia at first bicker but soon begin to bond, as they drive from Madrid to Galicia and deliver Adela's ashes to their aunt Rafaela. In the process, each sister discovers something about the past and finds a stronger connection to their dead mother and her life.
