Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
When a beautiful ballerina is murdered, becoming yet another victim of a brutal serial killer, her insolent socialite boyfriend, a senator's son, becomes a prime suspect. Detective Melanie Hudson and her former lover, Nathan Leonard, are assigned to the case, but what begins as a routine investigation slowly grows into an obsessive exploration of the dark side of Hudson's own psyche as she presses the boundaries to find the truth.
