Retired police superintendent Charles Boyer decides to move to The Residence, an establishment specializing in neuro-degenerative disorders. He soon fits in to his new environment, but patients keep dying, and much too often according to Charles, who is still a cop at heart--he is convinced they have been killed. Somewhere between delirium and instinct and despite his Alzheimer's disease, Charles undertakes the most important and most dangerous investigation of his life.
