A candid portrait of 16 contemporary urban teens, shot using the form of a chain letter. Ten video cameras were handed out to ten teenagers at a Los Angeles high school. They recorded their daily lives and then passed on their cameras to ten other students. Among the students highlighted are: Rosemary, who speaks of her bulemia and plans to become a stripper; Tim, who lives in a bullet-ridden house and yearns for a steady girlfriend; Ethiopian-born Mena, who discusses race relations; Cinamon, a warm hearted lesbian; Winfred, who needs to pass math to return to the football team; Amy and her boyfriend Victor; Ethan, the homecoming prince; and the politically committed Jesse.
