Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
Phony explorer Matt Merriwether, who promotes himself as an expert on the dark continent, bases his exploration of the African subcontinent on old diaries of his uncle. When an American space capsule crashes in an uncharted region of Africa, Merriwether, based on his alleged expert knowledge of the region, is selected to recover the capsule. Joining Merriwether is security agent Frederica Larsen. Hot on their heels are Russian agents Luba and Dr. Ezra Mungo, who want to get to the space capsule first.
