Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
Ben is a twenty-something screenwriter who's having writers block. He isn't helped in his struggle by a school chum, Tom, who has just completed a novel and is now meeting with publishers. Still, Ben invites Tom in and it is soon revealed that Ben has a longstanding hatred of Tom. Only when he listens to Tom make love with a publisher's daughter does Ben's block begin to lift as he simultaneously begins to write and plot his friend's downfall.
