Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
Vincent Karbone is a Philadelphia mob leader of one of the city's most brutal criminal gangs. Several of his thugs are on trial for murder, and the key witness is Michael, a mild-mannered judo instructor with a wife and kids. Karbone will stop at nothing to keep his employees out of prison, including striking at Michael's family to keep him from testifying.
