Breakdown (1997)

A couple is driving from Massachusettes to California when their jeep breaks down in a desolate part of the Southwest. The wife accepts the offer of a truck driver to take her to the nearest cafe where she can call for assistance. When the husband starts the car himself, he goes to the cafe where the driver claims that he's never met him or his wife before. The husband begins a frantic search for his missing wife.
