A look at America's love affair with firearms and the pathology of violence in the United States, which as a country, has the highest gun-murder rate in the world. This is a phenomenal movie. One thing that Michael Moore is unafraid to do -- and which really resonates with an enormous audience -- is tell the truth. His take is very populist. It's the take of the American working people who are not represented by our leaders. And the politics are delivered with such warmth and humor. Heston is back, as the NRA's mouthpiece, getting shanghaied at home by Michael Moore in his Oscar-winning doc on America's obsession with guns, an obsession played out during the shootings at Columbine.
