Divorcee Marta makes her living tending to her pottery business and raising her teenage daughter Alica. She is going through an extreme mid-life crisis which isn't helped by her daughter's wild flings with her boyfriends and the fact that she must also care for her aging mother. When a family tragedy intrudes on their home, the women come to understand the scope of their interdependence.
