A country boy inherits money and decides to experience life in the Big Apple, where he meets his more sophisticated cousin. The cousin plans a party in the boy's hotel room, but things get out of hand and a young girl accidentally dies. During the resulting investigation, the country boy becomes the prime suspect and finds his dreams of the big city turning darker.
