Dave Matthews goes big screen as pet-store peon Otis in this heartwarming "tail" of salvation through friendship in rural Florida. A girl named Opal (AnnaSophia Robb) finds a mutt in a supermarket produce section, her preacher father (Jeff Daniels, his best religious role since Kingpin) lets her keep it, and "everything good that happened that summer happened because of Winn-Dixie."
