Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
A story which recounts the day-long odyssey of a down and out Asian-American actress who, after being sexually assaulted by a motercycle cop, handcuffs him to a tree, dons his uniform and takes off on his bike through the streets of Los Angeles. Everywhere, she finds that her uniform alters people's reactions to her and, while at first grooving on her new found power, the actress soon discovers her actions have darker consequences.
