In 1975, Nicolas Philibert was a young assistant director on Ren Allio’s "Moi, Pierre Riviere…." That film, which narrated the true story of a young man who murdered his family in 1835, featured a cast made up mostly of local villagers. Three decades later, Philibert returns to the Normandy countryside to catch up with the locals he helped cast in that movie.
