The day the Etxebeste family sets off for Marbella on holiday, having announced their departure to all and sundry, they don't have a penny to their name. They don't have the cash to leave, but then they can't stay either. What would the neighbours say if they found out? They pack their cases, put them in the car and wave goodbye as they head towards Marbella. But midnight sees them silently returning so that no-one will spoil their plan: to spend their holidays locked inside the house while everyone thinks they are away.
