synopsis
After a Romanian Captain's beautiful wife rejects the advances of her husband's commanding officer, he's promptly reassigned to a frontier post on the Danube. Later, when Romanian soldiers are ambushed and slaughtered by roving Macedonian bandits, her husband is ordered to retaliate by executing the harmless Bulgarian locals who tend his family's vegetable garden.
