A grieving, recently widowed cop meets Bruno, a gangster who has inherited his dead wife's eyes through surgical transplantation, and falls unexplainably in love with him. The two men, both seemingly heterosexual, are as surprised as their shocked and apalled families. Unable to ignore their mutual attraction, Bruno's fiancee leaves him and his mafia family threatens to throw him out.
