Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
First generation Indian-American college student Sureel deceives his traditional, immigrant parents so he can follow his dreams of being a musician. His traditional upbringing at home, coupled with the progressive American world around him, make for a duality of deception. Now in his senior year at college his parents mistakenly assume he's graduating pre-med instead of pursuing his rock 'n' roll sitar passions. Ultimately Sureel is forced to reconcile his old world values with his new world dreams.
