Salma accidentally causes the death of a girl during her birthday celebration with a group of friends. Seven years later, she becomes a famous television anchorwoman living alone in Alexandria in the United States of America. One day, a young psychiatrist named Khaled moves in to become Salma’s new neighbor. They gradually become closer and they fall in love. Later on Salma discovers that he is the brother of the girl she had accidentally killed and he was sent to Europe for treatment after he suffered from a nervous breakdown. She finds herself torn between confessing to him and keeping her past in the shadows.
