Felice is living a dangerous life: in the middle of World War II Berlin she is a Jew and a lesbian, working undercover at a Nazi newspaper where she finds information to take to the Jewish underground. One day she meets Lilly, her lover Ilse's employer, and falls in love with this bourgeois, Nazi-supporting hausfrau. Their affair is as intense as it is dangerous, with Felice in constant danger of discovery. In their own ways, each woman challenges what is expected of her.

Story

Felice (Maria Schrader), is a strong Jewish woman living in 1944 Berlin and belongs to an underground organization trying to get out of Germany alive. Lilly (Juliane Kohler), is a devoted mother of four (and occasionally unfaithful wife) who is desperate for love.
