Steven Spielberg and Daniel Day-Lewis may be preparing to unveil their “Lincoln,” but the alt-universe version of our 16th President is also still out there, keeping our country safe from the creatures of the night.
“Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter” will be sworn in at this year’s New York Comic Con, which begins today and runs through Sunday, Oct. 14 at the Javits Center. This new poster for the film will be unveiled at NYCC, but you can see it first exclusively in digital form right here, featuring artwork by Nimit Malavia, a freelance illustrator whose clients include Marvel Comics, 20th Century Fox, Shopify, The National Post, PEN Canada, Soapbox Design, PSYOP West, Rethink and more.
Check out the poster below (and check out another exclusive over at NextMovie) and look for “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter” if you’re going to be at the Javits Center this weekend (you can check out the panel discussion with content director/producer Javier Soto, key concept artist Nimit Malavia, animation director Matt Whelan Friday at 11 a.m.).
The film will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on Oct. 23.
