Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
Young Andy Lippman arrives at summer camp and immediately incurs the wrath of Troy, a rich kid and leader of "The Wolves." Andy is dumped in with the "Pig Pen," a group of uncool teens who, as the summer progresses, pull themselves together. Troy also fights with Andy over Tiffany, and masterminds a nasty scheme that gets the whole "Pig Pen" kicked out of camp. Another of Troy's dirty tricks backfires, though, and Andy and the other "pigs" gain newfound popularity. Andy also wins the heart of Tiffany, who, it turns out, lives in his home town.
