Vin Diesel gets back behind the wheel, Cliffhanger gets rebooted, and Jack Bauer's in trouble again.

Scorsese to Direct Sinatra Biopic
After years of rumors, the deal is sealed: Martin Scorsese is directing and producing a biopic of the Chairman of the Board himself.
Verdict: This is a perfect match. Sinatra's is a great story, and there's nobody better than Scorsese to tell it. He's a master at incorporating music into his films, and with the Sinatra songbook to play with this should be a great one.

Showdown 2011: Green Lantern vs. Thor
MTV.com reports that Green Lantern has been delayed, moving from a December 2010 release date to June 17, 2011 -- which just happens to be the day that Marvel Studios' Thor is supposed to release. Awww, snap!
Verdict: No way this game of chicken will stand: Split the audience and both movies lose. There's plenty of time 'til 2011, and one of them will back off. For the record, my pick to win it would be Green Lantern. Marvel's got all the momentum, but I think people are going to start getting sick of the avalanche of interconnected movies, and GL will look fresh by comparison.

People Like to Watch Vin Diesel Commute
The Fast and the Furious? Hit. The Chronicles of Riddick? Bomb. xXx? Hit. The Pacifier? Bomb. Babylon A.D.? H-bomb. Fast & Furious? Hit. Turns out people only like Vin Diesel when he's driving really, really fast, and they're about to get more: Diesel just signed on for the adaptation of The Wheelman, the video game he did the voice-over for.
Verdict: Why not? Hey, give the people what they want. And that would be no more family comedies.

Sly StalloneStallone's Cliffhanger Gets a Reboot
For some unknown reason, Sly's 1993 movie about ... hanging off cliffs is headed for a reboot. The producer told Variety, "Just as they rebooted Star Trek, we're going to do the same with Cliffhanger" (h/t Rope of Silicon). So they're going to find some 25-year-old to play Young Stallone and partner up with Nokia and Burger King?
Verdict: This has to be a joke.

Kiefer Sutherland Head-Butts a Fashion Designer
This sounds like a Sacha Baron Cohen stunt, but police say it happened last week at a New York nightclub. Whether the designer was challenging 24's stance on torture or making fun of his hair in The Lost Boys has not yet been released.
Verdict: Didn't he just get out of jail? Sounds like Kiefer needs a hug.
