Twilight, and other Thoughts from the Con

I am currently surrounded by screaming teenage girls. Their passion? Twilight. Everything is Twilight. You can't escape it here at Comic-Con. The "Twi-Hards" (though I'm tempted to call them "Vampire Girls") starting camping out around 8pm last night for a few minutes of clips and for a chance to see the cast of the film. Crazy talk, right?

So then, how did I get here? Well, I started my morning with what I'll call "camp out session A" - where I waited for that elusive press pass. That took my up until 8:45am and then the waiting in line started. Oh, the epic, epic line. That was "camp out session B" which took me up until 11am. Then we got some real excitement as a giant 100ft curtain fell on a few unsuspecting comic-con'ers. That caused the Day the Earth Stood Still panel to be delayed which in turn meant I had to leave for the Twilight roundtables.

Thus began "camp out session C" which eventually led to interviews with all the vampires, Stephanie Meyer, Catherine Hardwicke and NOT Kristen Stewart (insert sound of jukebox coming to abrupt halt).

That's right, Kristen Stewart missed the interviews. Yeah, I'm looking at her right now in the Hall H question and answer session but I heard a rumor through the grapevine that her limo driver got her lost. If so, kudos to him for jacking up my day. Did I need to interview the female lead for the biggest movie at Comic-Con? Nah! No biggie. Yay!

So here I am, with 6000 of my closest friends, as the roar starts for the Twilight cast. It's absolute mayhem. They showed a clip that I've already seen on MTV, the one where Bella is in the ballet studio getting attacked, though I think this version is longer.

Okay a teenage girl just shouted, towards Robert Pattinson, I WANT YOU BABY!!

Kristen Stewart does seem extremely nervous at the Q&A - perhaps this limo driver thing was worst than I originally thought.

The questions from the fans are all so endearing and of the "how does it feel to be so hot?" variety. Solid.

More pics plus the roundtable info as soon as my little hands can type it!
