While they beg for privacy in the media, celebrities have no shame when it comes to the social networking sensation that is Twitter. With "tweets" ranging from what's on their dinner plates to where they love to shop, Twitter is a dream for those hoping to get a closer look into the lives of their favorite stars. Here are some of our tweeting celebs.

10. Kim Kardashian (@KimKardashian)
Keeping up with this Kardashian just got a whole lot easier. While it's always fun to read about her relationship with NFL star, Reggie Bush, and her yearning to someday be a mother, it's her musings on diet and fitness that keep us coming back for more. She's referred to herself as a "bad girl" after taking "two bites of a snack" and subsequently posted this cry for help, "Please any words that will stop my cravings!" And who can forget those pictures she posted of her painful-looking sunburn? "PLEASE HELP ME!" she wrote. A Twitter support group? Brilliant!

9. Kimora Lee Simmons (@BabyPhat)
While we could do without the "love & light" sign-offs, Ms. Kimora Lee Simmons herself made Twitter history when she tweeted through childbirth!
"It's time !! No turning back! At hospital in labor right now!! Love & Light, KLS" (May 29, 10:10 p.m.)
"Having contractions now! Ooo- wee! It's like WHOA! Love & Light, KLS" (May 29, 11:57 p.m.)
"It's a boy! Thanks to everyone out there for all your well wishes! More to come. Thank God. And God Bless! Kimora + Djimon Love & Light, KLS" (May 30, 7:07 p.m.)
Thank you, Kimora, for sparing us the gory details of what happened between 11:57 p.m. and 7:07 p.m. the following day. We're not sure if the Twitter community is ready for Childbirth: 101 quite yet.

8. Spencer Pratt (@spencerpratt)
Love him or hate him (does anyone love him?), Spencer Pratt's Twitter page has more drama than a marathon of The Hills. Between challenging Ashton Kutcher to a popularity contest (does he think he stands a chance?) to his bizarre e-friendship with Miley Cyrus (he says he is her biggest fan), Spencer knows how to get people talking. 7. Diddy (@iamdiddy)
He may be the king of T.M.I. ("Eating corn flakes and watching some PORN!") but with recurring phrases such as "Let's go!", "Be great!" and "Let's make our dreams come true!" Diddy has even helped frat boys everywhere invent a new drinking game. (e.g. Let's + (verb), such as Let's go/Let's work/Let's turn it up equals one shot.) While critics have launched a Twitter campaign to "unfollowdiddy" the hip-hop mogul is not deterred by their "bitchassness" -- he still has more than one million followers.

6. Miley Cyrus (@mileycyrus)
The tween sensation would like us to believe she is the poster child of wholesomeness. Just look at her bio -- "Hi this is Miley. I love rainbows, John Lennon, & Franklin, Tennessee." So when mysterious expletive-laden messages appeared on her feed, many worried that Miss Cyrus had fallen from grace. Not to worry -- it was the work of a hacker. Now we can go back to seeing Miley as a fan of rainbows and unicorns and cupcakes and all of that other stuff Disney stars are supposed to love.

5. Nicole Richie (@nicolerichie)
After her stint on The Simple Life, it should come as no surprise that Nicole Richie has a good sense of humor. Nicole keeps us laughing with her comedic jabs at baby daddy and current flame, Joel Madden. Our faves? "Quit pretending like you shower." And "see I told you there are people in this world who like you, they just have to not know you!"

4. Britney Spears (@britneyspears)
The subject of much tabloid fodder, all eyes are always on Britney. OK, so maybe she doesn't do all of her own posts, but the pop princess is dedicated to keeping her fans updated nonetheless. Even if she's just telling the world what she had for dinner, we can't help but be intrigued. And if she ever decides to shave her head again, we're hoping to read about it in real time.

3. John Mayer (@johncmayer)
Although he has publicly called Twitter "silly" and "dumb," that doesn't stop John Mayer from updating his account ad nauseam. After splitting from Jennifer Aniston, Mayer took to his Twitter page and wrote, "This heart didn't come with instructions." A cad who doesn't mind showing his emotions! How can we resist?

2. Oprah (@Oprah)
By now, we are all aware of the Oprah effect. From her book club, favorite things list, and her presidential endorsement, everything O touches becomes massively popular. So when she featured Twitter on her show, it's no surprise that that site's popularity soared. Now we know who to blame for our moms joining the site.

1. Ashton Kutcher (@aplusk) and Demi Moore (@mrskutcher)
If we were making a list of Twitter superlatives, Demi "Mrs. Kutcher" Moore and her hubby Ashton would win the title of "Best Couple" hands down. Ashton has appealed to his Twitter followers to bombard his wife with love messages in what he referred to as a "love tsunami," and Demi received almost 3,600 messages of love. (Aww!) While Ashton beat CNN to their much-hyped race to one million followers, he has gone on to double that number. Oh yeah, and Demi used Twitter to stop a young woman from committing suicide. Is there anything this power couple can't do?
