Yesterday I took a look at the female Big Brother 9 houseguests. This began with a conversation with some friends about whom our favorite houseguest was, and turned out to be a discussion on which one we disliked the least. This group has managed to alienate me very quickly.

The guys have their little boys' club that they think will rule the roost. They think the women are stupid, and although I tend to agree with them much of the time, I think they will be in for a rude awakening. There are really only two guys that discuss strategy and the game with their partners, James and Joshuah. Even then, they expect their partners to blindly follow them.

Matt treats poor Natalie rather badly. I understand that he's trying to dissuade her from having her obvious crush, but I feel sorry for her. He doesn't mind being serviced by her, but he doesn't want any emotions or feelings. She was a notch on his bedpost and now he's sniffing behind Allison and Chelsia. When Natalie tries to talk game to him, he blows her off and tries to avoid her.

Adam is just creepy. I don't mean to sound shallow, but his eyes and the way he holds his mouth disturb me. I feel sorry for him sometimes because of the way Sheila talks to him, but he's not innocent. The way he talks around his boys erases whatever soft feelings I may have for him. I'm not the only one he creeps out it seems. During last night's "party," the girls barely gave him any play in the pool.

I don't like the way James plays this game. He takes it to a nasty level. I realize that this is a game for money, but still. To calmly talk and laugh about how to destroy other houseguests, how to break them mentally and then to talk about how nasty you'll behave if they dare to nominate or try to evict you is not the way I like to see the game played. He's so arrogant and so certain that he has it all figured out. I'll enjoy seeing him get his comeuppance.

Joshuah is also a nasty player. It still galls me that he had the nerve to call out Amanda on causing drama and talking behind people's backs. He's one of the main backbiters. And the guys call him the biggest gossip in the house. He's so judgmental and it's so annoying. I was so hoping that he'd be laid back, but wow, he's not.

Ryan is okay. I think a part of my dislike of him has to do with his girlfriend and his partner. Regardless of my feelings for Jen, the fact that he allows Allison to disrespect her in his presence keeps me from liking him. He was all bluster talking about how no one had better disrespect his woman. He was all kissy face and "I love you" with her before he left and in his goodbye message, but he allows his partner to talk badly about her. All he'd have to do is tell her one time to cut it out and she probably would.

Alex has done the least to work my last nerve. He should have defended his partner when the house ganged up on her, but his jealousy got in the way. I think that Amanda turning him down that week in the Head of Household room temporarily took him out of his game. And I'm sure it must have really hurt him to hear that she accused him of trying to rape her. I know that she didn't use those words, but that is what he was told. Good for him for not sleeping in that room alone with her again, and good for him for taking care of her the night she returned from the hospital.

Therein lays one of my dilemmas. The guys that annoy me the least are not on the same team as the females that annoy me the least. So whom am I rooting for to win Big Brother 9? No one.
