Tex's Take on the Remaining HouseGuestsWith only a couple of weeks left, Ladytex takes a look at the final five and tries to find one to root for.

Posted by Ladytex With the Big Brother 9 finale supposedly scheduled for April 27th, I am trying to find a houseguest to cheer on to the end. It's incredibly difficult. With James almost assured of his second eviction tonight, the house is left with Natalie, Adam, Ryan, Sheila and Sharon. I don’t like any of them. They make it hard to watch the feeds, but make it easier to remain impartial. Who is worthy of the win? Each of them is, in their own way. I may not like the way they are playing the game, but they are all playing. Is there one more deserving than the others? That’s a tough call. Let’s take a look at each one and my opinion of them and their game play. I’ll start with Natalie. I was tempted to call her Natalie Koresh. She’s the cult leader. I’m just as spiritual/religious as the next person, but I’ve been really offended by her and her using the Bible as a weapon. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t have anything against reading the Bible and drawing strength from it. My problem is that she cherry picks Bible verses to justify her bashing others. She’s condescending and a hypocrite. I must have missed the memo that named her Supreme Being in charge of judging and separating the good from the evil people. She’s more like Maggie from BB6 than she or her legion of fans/followers wants to admit. Her little group does her bidding. She’s only won one competition since the pairs were split, but she has everyone convinced of her strength. She really believes and has them believing that she would have won every Power of Veto competition that she didn’t get to play in. Hindsight is 20/20 and of course she’s going to know all the answers afterwards. She’ll end up winning this thing if they’re stupid enough to let her get to the final two. Then there is Adam. I knew that he was smarter than he comes across. I just think that he has social problems. I don’t know if he’s truly as disrespectful of women as he portrays or if it’s for show, so that he’ll fit in. I credit his "retard" comment to wanting so badly to fit in. Not that it makes it any better, but I don’t really think he’s a bad person. His personal hygiene issues make me want to gag, but he he’s played a pretty decent game. And he’s thinking of the jury, which others have neglected. His handling of James this week was great strategy on his part. Ryan, yuk. I really believe that there was something to the accusations of racism that his girlfriend, Jen, leveled. His use of the N-word and conversations about f-ing Mexicans and f-ing Africans have not endeared him to me at all. He’s been carried by Natalie and by Adam and has so-called alliances with everyone. He may make it to the end. That leaves Sheila and Sharon. Sharon has been playing a low-key game, making friends on both sides. She is a listener and I think that’s helped her, too. She’s been on the block for at least four consecutive weeks and she’s still there. No one sees her as a threat; that may be their mistake. Sheila just annoys the crap out of me: her voice and her stories irritate me; she can yammer on and on about the same exact thing. She’s the token middle aged person and I can only imagine how difficult it’s been to deal with some of the shenanigans in the house. She’s handled the pranks with good grace, but she’s like a dog with a bone when it comes to perceived slights. She’s still harping on the $10,000 that Ryan "took" from her in that Power of Veto competition. So who do I want to win? None of them, really. The next couple of weeks should be interesting as the "good people" turn on each other. Who’ll be good and evil then? However it shakes out, I’ll be glad to see the back of this group and look forward to the next group for Big Brother 10. Got a question? Ask Big Brother Here.
