So What's Wanted All About... Based Solely Upon The Stills?
Welcome to the Angelina Jolie show!
Universal Pictures
More often than not, I see myself as your typical movie-lover. I tend to like a little of this and a little of that; my expectations are never too high, simply because I am watching for mere entertainment value. There have been several exceptions to that rule in the past, like the film Once. I had my sights set on gold, and this film certainly delivered. There have been others, however (i.e., Pride and Prejudice) which were truly upsetting. Recently, I saw the trailer for this little film Wanted and it immediately went to the top of my summertime must-see list. Turns out this film looks freaking awesome. I don't generally get excited over action movies, but it seems like this film could potentially be a massive hit and given its summer release date, I'm feeling good things here. Furthermore, the film stars the up-and-coming James McAvoy (Atonement and Becoming Jane). My fingers are crossed, as I'm hoping this is his chance to prove himself in a new type of role. Regardless of the details, Universal Pictures has released a chunk of production photos for all of us action fans to view and get excited over. Oh, the stories these pictures do tell.
I suppose the backdrop of dead, skinned animals makes this team of assassins more … deadly looking? Maybe they are just props that help the actors look and feel more intimidating because it seems that oftentimes in films the scary or threatening scenes are in meat lockers. Either way, they all look very serious.
“Don’t be deceived by my fabulous hair –- I will kill you.”
If you look very closely for about 20 seconds and don’t blink, you’ll see an elephant. This is definitely one of those Magic Eye puzzles, right?
Again with the meat. And, she looks seriously sinister here.
Cirque du Soleil?
I'm sure this isn't the point, but if I were thirteen and ran across this picture of my mom, I would be humiliated. But if I were a mom of ... however many kids she has, I would be giving myself a big pat on the back. She must of just left the sauna, yeah, that's it, the sauna.
“Even amongst the chaos, I remain calm and collected, because I am the best assassin EVER.” The Egg Store? What does that mean?
This is "The Angelina Jolie Show.” So, I'd say we know this film certainly features Angelina Jolie and is kissed with quite a bit of violence. Sounds like a "can't miss" to me. Most Popular Stories
