Snap Judgment: We Rate The Big Brother 10 Cast

Nothing says summer like the freedom to commit three nights a week to the Chen-bot and her house of pain (and back-stabbing, and slop, and drama). The long-running reality show is a notch above "mindless entertainment" -- keeping track of all those HOH competitions, nomination ceremonies and POV meetings is, as Jesse from The Bachelorette would say, no joke. It's actually quite taxing. Nugs!

CBS just announced the cast of Big Brother 10, so let's do what we do best and judge early and often. Of the 13 new housemates moving into the Big Brother House on July 13, here are my picks for ones to watch:

Angie Swindell, 29, of Orlando, Fla.: Angie packed nine cartons of cigarettes. That's CARTONS, not packs. That's, like, 900 packs of cigarettes. How long does she plan on staying in the house, anyway? She'll probably die of lung cancer first. Can't wait to see what happens when someone steals her smokes as a funny joke.

Libra Thompson, 31, of Spring, Texas.: First of all, her name is Libra. Secondly, she says the most unique item she's bringing into the house is a "really cute" magenta top. Is it a magic top? I smell a ditzy Natalie in the making. Now we just need a Matty.

Steven Daigle, 35, of Dallas, Texas: Casting directors found him by calling his gay rodeo association looking for people to audition. Because apparently Joshuah from last season wasn't gay or Texan enough. I don't appreciate this kind of type-casting. What, just because he's gay and rides horses, that makes him interesting?

Gerry MacDonald, 75, of Magnolia, Texas: I just realized that everyone in the cast is from Texas. Weird. Gerry gets a nod because he's 75 years old. I'm guessing he won't do much in the physical competitions, but he could go far by presenting himself as a non-threat, like Sheila did last season.
