Gotta say, RocknRolla looks pretty good. Just saw a new trailer and it seems to be a solid return to the vibe of Snatch and Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels. It's a crime film, full of quick cuts and explosions with the requisite witty Brit dialogue thrown in.

During the question and answer session Gerard Butler was the MVP. He cursed (though the "talent" is warned not to) and made fun of strange looking questioners. He also mentioned he's got a romantic comedy coming out next year with Kat Heigl (called The Ugly Truth). He finished up the panel by noting he was sick during the shooting of the film and Madonna ended up giving him a B12 shot in the buttocks. That's right, directly in the buttocks. Sadly, this didn't work. Gerard stayed sick.

Guy Ritchie, for his part, did nice work by not mentioning Swept Away.

Piven said when he read the script he knew that Guy Ritchie wanted two African American actors and so he was determined to get the part (with Ludacris no less). He also wanted to play it way differently than his Entourage persona which worked out nicely because Ritchie had never seen the show.

Also of note, Thandie Newton is in the film, though not in attendance at Comic-Con. Lastly, Idris Elba (Stringer Bell from The Wire) also adds that British feel... and he WAS in attendance, though all the girls only asked questions of Gerard Butler, usually calling him the sexiest man alive.
