The Offer Was Hard to Refuse on The Mole

The contestants luged, had a spa day, and then stripped down and had to beg for clothes. At the execution, Jon made an offer that some couldn't refuse.

Last night's episode of The Mole continued with Paul and Nicole yapping at each other. Paul decided that he would use Nicole's outburst to his advantage by telling the others that he couldn't sleep the night before because she was out of control. Nicole, on the other hand, confessed that she's just trying to get under his skin. These two made me tired within the first five seconds of the show.

The first mission was called "Fruit of the Luge." Cute, huh? They first broke into two teams, those that "Trust Blindly" and those that "Can't Trust." Then one person from each team had to ride the luge, with the "Trust Blindly" person in front, blindfolded. As they went down the course, there were pictures of fruit. The back person had to tell the blindfolded person exactly what the fruit was. The blindfolded person had to remember the fruit in the exact order. Once they crossed the finish line, they could not talk, but the blindfolded person had to go to the market, pick out the fruit from the course and place it in the correct order. Each correct fruit earned $2,000 for the pot.

Clay and Bobby got five out of seven for $10,000, same with Paul and Ali. Victoria & Craig and Mark & Kristen got all of them correct for $14,000 each, and Nicole & Alex only got one correct. That's $50,000 to add to the pot. Hold on, though. Jon informed us and the players that Clay & Bobby and Victoria & Craig were disqualified because they talked after crossing the finish line. Instead of banking $50,000, they were only awarded $26,000. Of course that starts more suspicion among the troops.

Jon then told them all to dress in their Sunday best. He was treating them to a spa day. They got to relax and have fun. A few of the players were trying to have fun, but were very suspicious and waiting for a catch. While they were all being massaged, Jon took all of their clothes except their underwear and shoes. That was the catch.

The second mission of the night was "Dress Code." They broke up into teams and had to walk around town gathering proper clothing to wear into a restaurant. Jon would be waiting there for them two hours later. Each person who made it into the restaurant, with the proper clothing, would earn $5,000 for the pot. Oh, and since the women only had panties on, Jon gave them sports bra tops and booty shorts. Kristen and Victoria were funny because their shoes were "hooker boots" and they were on a team together with Ali and they really did look like hookers. They attracted two bus loads of private school boys following them.

Mark and Clay opted out before the mission started. Alex and Paul did well. Alex's Spanish came in handy again, and Paul met another New Yorker with spare clothes to finish their outfits. Nicole also did well, and Bobby and Craig got some clothes from a theater. Then Craig found the laundromat that had their clothes and they were set. Victoria, Ali and Kristen also successfully completed the task. They won $40,000 for this task and this takes the pot up to $129,000.

At the dinner party, Paul got into it with Mark, Bobby and Nicole (yes, again). He admitted that he was being a jerk to throw the others off their games right before the quiz. After they'd all taken the quiz, Jon made an offer. He'd give $20,000 to the first person to voluntarily leave the game, but no one took it. He revealed that Mark, Victoria and Kristen were safe. He then increased his bribe to $30,000 and Ali took the money. She would have been safe, so they continued with the execution and Bobby was executed.
