More model vs. shoe drama occurred on Thursday. At the Brian Reyes show, where Ivanka Trump and Rachel Bilson were in attendance, several models tripped in their Manolo Blahniks; three even stopped mid-walk to remove their shoes. When the models hit the runway for the finale walk, they were all barefoot, making for a memorable finish.

Speaking of shoes, Christian Siriano sent his models down the runway in Payless -- don't worry, it's all for the sake of self-promotion. The Project Runway superstar has teamed up with the discount shoe store for footwear that costs between $25 and $45. We're looking forward to the shoe line's release this fall as we're quite certain nothing this ornate has ever come out of Payless, and none of the models fell in them. The rest of the collection, which Christian described as Egyptian-inspired, featured lots of browns and rusts and bold blue.

Calvin Klein brought out Kate Beckinsale and Eva Mendes for his almost entirely black collection. We would expect nothing less from CK.

Zac Posen gave us ruffles, metallics, and floral prints. Gorgeous! Nicole Richie, Alicia Keys, Claire Danes, and Sex and the City style-genius Patricia Field were front row.

Friday's Project Runway presentation was unlike any other before. No episodes from the sixth season have aired due to the legal dispute that has put the show in limbo. Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, Michael Kors, and Tim Gunn were all present, but the audience had no idea who the show's finalists were. Between the three unknown designers, we saw black and silver cocktail dresses, urban leather looks, funky knitwear, and Peter Pan hats. Let's hope the season airs some day soon, so these designers can get a shot.

And Ralph Lauren provided the Fashion Week finale. The collection featured muted tones, lots of layering, and is being described as opulent. The show even brought out Blake Lively. It's about time, Serena.

Well, we're signing off from New York Fashion Week, but stay tuned as we rummage through the trends and take a look at the aftermath. Next up, Oscar fashion!
