Mel Gibson Continues His Apology Tour

In the wake of his July drunk driving arrest, which came complete with a barrage of anti-Semitic commentary and the earnest use of the term "sugar tits," Mel Gibson makes the first major stop on his media apology tour with a visit to Diane Sawyer. Gibson calls his verbiage that evening "the stupid ramblings of a drunkard" and claims he hasn't had a drink in sixty-five days.

Also, look for the soon-to-come Gibson interview, in which he attempts to explain why he's BFF with a dude who was arrested for molesting two twelve-year-old boys on Saturday. Should be fun.

ABC has posted some choice quotes from the interview, along with a video clip, on their website, for all your Mel Gibson forgiveness needs.
