What I want to know is this: Just exactly how long has Sayid been working for Ben?

I mean, sure -- all that talk right at the end of last night's mind-blowing episode about Sayid being recruited to protect his friends is supposed to make us think about the Scooby gang from the island, that Sayid is doing something he doesn't want to be doing for their sakes. But what if those aren't the friends Ben is referring to? What if Sayid has been working for Ben all along, and not just in the future? What if Sayid wasn't on Oceanic 815 by accident, and what if that crash wasn't an accident either? How freaky is this: What if the crash of Oceanic 815 on that island was merely Sayid's ride there?

Your head wants to explode, right?

What about the bracelet? Sayid seems to recognize the one Elsa is wearing: it looks very much like the one he discovers on Naomi's body. Is it some kind of symbol among the anti-Ben people? If Sayid is not already working for Ben (or, hmm, the anti-Ben people) then why is he so particularly interested in Naomi's dead body? It was almost like he expected to find something like that bracelet on her, some kind of indication of where her loyalties lie. Is Ben hunting, in the flash-forward, the anti-Ben people Naomi works for?

And how on Earth does one of the Oceanic Six manage to get work as a hit man? Isn't that a job that requires a certain degree of anonymity? And yet the guy on the golf course was terrified to discover who Sayid was. Weird. Maybe all the Oceanic Six are going bonkers in very public ways, like Hurley and his joyride. Who knows what Kate and Jack have gotten up to after being rescued, or what they have yet to get up to? Maybe they're all having breakdowns like Jack's...

So, the Oceanic Six so far: Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid. I'm guessing Desmond and Juliet get off the island too, but since they weren't on the plane, they're not going to be tallied among the Six. Maybe Claire and Oscar... ?

Hurley the betrayer? Oh, dude ...

And the missile: Daniel's research missile. It took 31 minutes longer to fly from the freighter to the island than it should have. Because it took the long way around, through a wormhole. I'm tellin' ya: it's all done with wormholes.
