Jimmy Kimmel is dating a staffer on his late night talk show, news suddenly made relevant by the ongoing David Letterman sex scandal.

Kimmel's rep has confirmed his romantic relationship with Molly McNearney, a co-head writer on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The couple have been dating a few months. Would we have cared about this two weeks ago? Probably not.

Kimmel and his longtime girlfriend, comedian Sarah Silverman, split about seven months ago.
