It looks like the fabulous foursome now have a fifth. Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson was spotted filming her role in the Sex and the City movie in NYC yesterday. In a notable departure from her Dreamgirls role, Hudson is playing the assistant of fashion-forward Carrie Bradshaw, and it looks like her character is taking notes from her boss. Hudson arrived on set in a simple pair of black stretch pants and a black-and-white striped top. But by the time shooting began, she was clad in a blue and purple dress, a black trench coat, and -- in typical Carrie Bradshaw if-it-matches-it's-not-special fashion -- black and white plaid boots and a fringe plaid bag. The movie began filming around New York City in late September. It will hit theaters in May 2008.
