Jigga Man is set to perform at the Roundhouse in Camden tonight (17.09.09)
and what a show it is set to be. Jay-Z is, as always, going to be on top form,
especially after finding out his latest album, The Blueprint 3, is at number
one on the Billboard 200 charts through selling over 476,000 copies. Looks like
the cheeky download that went around didn’t do too much damage!
For all the doubters out there, this makes it the 11th number one album,
making him the most successful solo artist since Elvis Presley! Credit where
credit is due, my friends!
With all the Kanye commotion at this year’s VMAs it may have slipped
past a few people that someone else that night jumped on stage uninvited!
Heavyweights Jay Z and Alicia Keys rocked a killer performance of ‘Empire
State Of Mind’ off the Blueprint 3 Album, then at the end of the song
unknown wannabe ‘rapper’ and general gross misconduct Lil Mama took
it upon herself to crash the stage! It was a major OMG moment, especially when
Jay patted her leg, hinting that she get off the stage, to which she
didn’t and posed next to them! Oh doll, that is the cardinal sin. Funny
